Curbside Pickup Services for Physical Materials

By now, you may have seen the catchy video from Duke Libraries about their Library Pickup service. We're starting the same curbside on a limited basis here at the University Library!

The principles are the same as in that video:

  1. Request your item(s) by searching in OneSearch and signing in with your library account. CSUDH items from our main collections and storage are available. Sorry, we're not lending Course Reserves materials at this time due to the quarantine period needed for health and safety. You can also request items from other CSU libraries via CSU+ and outside the system via Interlibrary Loan (separate log-in necessary to place a request).
  2. Wait for our response. You'll get an email confirmation when your item(s) have been located and are ready for you to pick up.
  3. Schedule your pickup appointment. In your email confirmation, there will be a link to our appointment scheduler. Click on that link to find the time that works for you. Appointments are available in 15-minute windows on Tuesdays from 10am to 2pm and Thursdays from 12pm to 4pm. You'll get a detailed confirmation email - and a reminder email too!
  4. Pick up your item(s) at your appointment time. Wear your mask per CSUDH campus policies.

Not sure how to request items, or want to check on the status of your request? Visit our FAQ for requesting materials through OneSearch for curbside pickup.
