What can I use Up-to-Date for?

Up-to-Date navigation with Patient Education, Topics by Specialty, Calculators, and Drug Interactions highlighted.

A. Patient Education - Frequently asked questions and basic or beyond the basic information on conditions and treatments that you can print and give to patients in English or Spanish.

B. Topics - Search for a health topic, or go to Content > Browse by Specialty.

Topic outlines are a great reference source for the latest information on conditions and interventions. These articles are written by clinical experts, reviewed by peers, cite high-quality evidence, and are updated frequently.

Example of an Up-to-Date topic overview on catheterization techniques.

C. Calculators - Advanced and specialized conversion and treatment calculators.

D. Drug Interactions - Add multiple drug names to analyze how they might interact with each other.

Example of a drug interaction analysis of FLUoxetine and Phenetzine, an avoid combination.
