About Zotero and Library Course Materials (Leganto)

Linking your Zotero to your library course materials allows you to easily grab your Zotero citations into your reading lists, saving you time and effort!

Adding Zotero

Zotero Configurations

  • Login to your Zotero account
  • Go to your Account > Settings

  • Copy the Zotero UserID

  • Create a new private key 
    • Enter a key description, check Allow Library Access, select none Group Permissions, Save key
    • Copy the Zotero API Key 

Library Course Materials (Leganto) Configurations

  • Go to your reading list (click here) > Login with your CSUDH username and password
  • Click on your account (upper right-hand corner) > User settings > Zotero
  • Enter your Zotero User ID and Zotero API Key from the steps above
  • Save

Using Zotero in Library Course Materials (Leganto)

Using Zotero in your reading lists is similar to adding library materials.
