Student Researchers

Students in the rare books room at the CSUDH Gerth Archives.

Archivists are available to guide student researchers in any of the following areas:

  • Assist with identification of archival repositories suitable for your research topic (even if that is not here at CSUDH)
  • Introduce you to archival repository inquiry research methods
  • Introduce you to primary source research guides including inventories, finding aids and more
  • Introduce you to primary source research, how to identify and how to analyze primary sources

Researchers are welcome to drop in during our regular business hours. An appointment is recommended, but not required.
