Course materials and textbooks are just one factor in being able to afford your education. If you're struggling to pay for food or shelter, CSUDH has resources available to help you, through the Basic Needs Initiative. Visit their website to learn about their food distribution programs, temporary emergency housing options, and how they can help refer you to local government offices and help hotlines:

Faculty and staff can also refer students to the Basic Needs office using this form, if a student is unable to complete an aid application on their own.
